WHAT TO EXPECT
All physical therapy appointments are one-on-one and provided in the comfort of home, lasting 45-60 minutes, depending on patient needs. We provide continuous assessment of progress with therapy and education for home program tips.
We provide in-home environmental assessment to ensure you are able to achieve in home carry-over of therapeutic initiatives.
Telemedicine sessions are available by request via HIPPA secure teleconferencing if in-person sessions are not be feasible for your child.
We use an industry leading practice management program that enables patients/caregivers access to appointment times and reminders, billing, electronic forms, insurance documentation, and direct messaging with therapist.
Appointment Information
INITIAL PHYSICAL THERAPY CONSULTATION
Individualized, one-on-one, patient-centered
Initial evaluation includes comprehensive assessment of physical appearance, posture, developmental skills, range of motion, strength, muscle tone, and any other indicated areas of concern using standard pediatric therapy assessment tools. Followed by establishment of plan of care based on patient-centered therapeutic goals. Includes comprehensive parent education for in-home carryover.
Follow-up documentation provided to parent via secure email of therapy assessment notes and comprehensive home program.
No referral is required.
PHYSICAL THERAPY SERIES APPOINTMENT
Individualized, one-on-one
INFANT WELLNESS
Consultation for infants without medical necessity
Think of it like "personal training" for baby - practitioner will provide a screening of gross motor skills and guide caregiver in developmental skill progression initiatives. Practitioner will use expertise of typically developing infants to guide you in optimal positioning for play and developmental progression.
GROUP INFANT WELLNESS
Consultation for infants without medical necessity in a group setting
Gather "friends" of your baby and set up a infant wellness group - practitioner will provide a screening of gross motor skills and guide caregivers in developmental skill progression initiatives. Practitioner will use expertise of typically developing infants to guide caregivers in optimal positioning for play and developmental progression.
